Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Upendra Kushwaha has said devotional programmes bring psychological energy to human beings. Hence, people need to take part in devotional programmes for peace and to overcome stress associated with the busy modern life. The Union Minister participated in the 58th birthday celebrations of Balasai Baba at Balasai Ashram in Kurnool city on Sunday. “Upholding moral values is vital to make a better society. Youth should work hard with dedication and discipline to achieve their set goals” he said. Raiya Sahba member TG Venkatesh, MLC KE Prabhakar, Kurnool MLA SV Mohan Reddy, Kodumur MLA Manigandhi and other participated in the celebrations. Later, Balasai Seva Samithi organised cultural programmes. 


The president of the Trust Sri Balasai Baba was conveyed a distinction on promoting
world peace and social justice in India by the Indian Book of Records on February 25,  2017 in Kurnool A.P.

On January 14, 2017, the President of the Balasai Central Trust, Sri Balasai Baba together with renowed Indian politicians and public servants such as S.T. Venkatesh M.P., Sri Kanaka Rathnam, Sri Nagaraja Rao, Sri Chakrapani Yadav and Sri Ajith Kumar Pandey and others participated in the annual World Peace Conference at Kurnool, A.P.  Numerous tricycles, mobile stalls and sewing machines were distributed to the poor in this district area of Kurnool during this public convocation.

A number of VIPs, including Union Minister Ramkrupal Yadav, AP Legislative Council chairman Chakrapani, President Pranab Mukhejee’s daughter Sharmishta, representative of Telangana government  S Venugopalachary, MLAs S V Mohan Reddy, Mani Gandhi, former Minister T G Venkatesh, besides film actors Chandramohan and Manju Bhargavi attended the birthday of Bala Sai Baba at Srinilayam here on Thursday at Kurnool, A.P. On 14 January 2015, during the 20. World Peace Conference Sri Balasai Baba  was bestowed a Peace Pole and a certificate by the World Peace Prayer Society, N.Y. USA  acknowledging his outstanding achievements as to the free service  in health care and education to the destitutes in southern India for more than 30 years.

On 14 January 2014, during the 19. World Peace Conference the Balasai Central Trust handed out numerous utensil sets, tri-cycles, sewing machines and mobile carts to selected destitute, disabled and unemployed people from the district of Kurnool, A.P.

On 14 January 2013, during a Social Service Function the Balasai Central Trust handed over tri-cycles to disabled people.5000 utensil sets, 25 tri-cycles, 50 sewing machines, 30 mobile carts were distributed to selected destitute, disabled and unemployed people. Further, 100 elder people received a monthly pension.

On the occasion of a social service program 2011, Mr. Sultan Ahmed, Union Minister of Tourism of India attended the function and announced in public: ‘Sreenilayam’ the residence of Bhagawan Sri Balasai Baba in Kurnool has been officially registered as a pilgrimage center of Andhra Pradesh due to Balasai Baba’s long years social activities, which has been helping the destitute and promoting universal love and humanity. Sreenilayam has been introduced in the official website of the Ministry of Tourism of India. (http://www.incredibleindia.org/)


On 14 January 2012, at Srinilayam in Kurnool, Sri Balasai Central Trust held a Social Service Festival with a World Peace Program. The annual donation of tricycles and sewing machines etc. were handed over to the handicapped and underprivileged, by Sri Balasai Baba, State Minister, ex Kurnool Mayor and other dignitaries. Additionally, the Trust presented wheelchairs and stretchers to govt. hospital which has financial difficulties. (photo above)


The Trust started a new social project from this month. 100 old ladies from poor families will receive a monthly pension. Those receivers were selected in Municipal Office in Kurnool. The Trust wishes to increase the the number of receivers of this service. The founder of the Trust, Balasai Baba gave a speech during the program. This speech was broadcasted via 10 TV channels and also many newspapers like Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi, Andhra Prabha, Surya. Balasaibaba birthday celebrated

The 52nd birthday of spiritual leader Balasaibaba was marked by a glittering function here on Saturday.

Minister for Minor Irrigation T.G. Venkatesh, former Mayor S. Raghurami Reddy and others attended the function and received blessings from the guru.

Addressing the devotees who came from different parts of the State and country, Balasaibaba said he had always believed in service to humanity as the best way of serving the God.

One could not please the Almighty with rituals but definitely by helping the people in need. He announced old age pensions for 100 destitute persons at the rate of Rs. 200 per month. An amount of Rs. 2.40 lakh was earmarked for this and a cheque was presented to the banker.

He said the number of pension holders would be increased next year.

Also, he distributed push carts, sewing machines and tricycles to the poor. Mr. Venkatesh appreciated the Balasai Trust for its sustained service activities which made a mark in society.

He said the Trust took up various activities that promoted peace.
